Yarn Along and WIPW

tami_wip DSC_0041-1

I am still reading the George RR Martin series.  I am almost done with the fourth book.  I should finish it this weekend.

The project is Laura Chau’s Dipped Infinity Scarf.  I am about 1/2 done.  I have three colors left to work in.

DSC00472 I absolutely love one of the teals that I am using.  I have very little yarn left, but may see about getting some more, to make a hat….

I am off school shopping today with several nephews….

Awesome texture on that scarf!

I had a lot of trouble with A Feast for Crows, and I think if Arya hadn't been in it, I'd never have gotten though it.

I like A Dance With Dragons much better. It's all the characters left out of AFfC for the first chunk of the book so you can see what they're doing (yay! I missed Tyrion and Dany, and Jon had some awesome chapters too), and then the timeline goes past book 4 and the AFfC characters start to trickle back into it. Interesting times. :)

The scarf looks wonderful. I love teals and aquas and turquoises. BTW - I read your post about CT shops. We used to live in CT (miss it very much) and visited a few of the ones you mentioned. Thanks for the rest of the list so that when we make our way back to the East Coast, I'll know where to stop for a yarn fill-up.

So nice the way that sage green transitions into teal!
