heading in....I drove up by myself, but planned on meeting up with some people...
You first walk into a large room where the animal vendors are....I stopped by my local alpaca farm to chat with Karen....here is one of her beautiful boys...
At noon I met up with some people at Mad Color's booth. Laura, I have known for a couple of years (and recently went on the Boston Yarn Crawl with her) The other two are Nerd Warriors that I met for the first time! Yeah Nerd Wars!
Yes I am wearing my loud obnoxious granny square tunic....and can you see Wilkey peeking out from my bag?
I also met up with Amy again, but we did not get a picture....
This is Play At Life, another Nerd Warrior!!!!! She had a booth there too....
Just some random shots of the day...I did not take a ton of pictures...
Wilkey wanted to hang out with the Moose...I said no...
And what did I come home with? I was really good! I had ordered some yarn from Mad Color, so I picked that up, along with a contrasting color. I got an alpaca yarn bowl, a couple of small braids of fiber for my swap partner, a couple of buttons, a new monkey bag from Jesslu and some spindles for decoration...
And thus ends my fiber festival season this year!

Looks like a wonderful, inspiring time. Karen's alpaca is adorable!
Looks like a fun festival. It's always fun when you can meet fellow Ravelry friends especially those who play Nerd Wars
Where is this festival held? Rhinebeck is a hike, but I would love to go to this next year.
