I had just started crocheting random leftover balls of pink yarn. Today I put the two together, they were blobs this morning...

I did have a frustrating moment. I knew I had some of those heavy beads you put in the bottom of shelf sitters to make them bottom heavy. Well I tore the room apart looking for the bag. Of course I couldn't find it, so I dumped what rice we had into a plastic bag and used that for the weight.
Then I went to get some yarn for the hair and of course found the bag with the beads! GRRRRRRR!!!!!!! But I think she is cute and I'm sure the kids will get a kick out of her...so she'll go to school with me on Monday...
Oh! I love your Dora doorstop! How cute!!!
