This is a picture from my Mom’s wedding in 2005. My Mom is in the yellow and her older sister, Irene is in the blue. My Aunt Irene passed away last night. She had just turned 72 in October. She was my mom’s best friend. They looked alike and they sounded alike and they were very alike in personality.
My aunt Irene was widowed and she leaves 5 children: Debbie, Donna, Butch, Scott and Dawn and many grandchildren. She will be missed.
Booo! I'm so sorry :( But, 72 is a pretty good life, if you ask me, and she looks like she lived it fully :)

ReplyDeleteoh....she looks like she was such a sweet person. and i can see how she and your mom were close, the way they're standing there together. so sad, and so sorry for you and your family having to deal with another loss.
