So I already showed you what I bought at WEBS and Northampton Wools. On the drive home, we also stopped at Creative Fibers....I was just looking for some little things to pop into a swap package....I did not find anything for the swap package, but I did come home with
A new pattern and some Noro Silk Garden Light to use...they had a store model completed with the Noro and it was stunning! If I actually attempt, they will be my first Entrelec....which I am really intrigued by...
There was a button sale, so got a left over tube of those cute red buttons and then picked up the DPN's for the pattern....I really need to put my needles on Ravelry, as I have no idea what I have!
Also on Wednesday I received my Hunger Games Yanr Club from Friday Studios in Sweden...it's very bright yarn! But I can so see the Capital in the yarn...and she also included some very cool mockinjay stitchmarkers...
Today I am working on my first post for Knit and Crochet Blog Week, which starts on Monday....
Hey, you got the Hunger Games yarn! Isn't it awesome? I just finished my striped socks in the same yarn but another colourway (Toothpaste), and I am so in love. I'm really looking forwards to knitting mine up!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a cowl! I'm thinking of making the Hermione's evereyday socks, which I think is a free pattern on Ravelry. What do you think? Or we could just each pick a pattern and just yarn-KAL? I'm not too picky about patterns as long as it's not too busy, with all the stripes in the yarn :)
Let me know what you think!
Hugs / Jenny
Entrelac using Noro sounds like a whole lot of fun. I like your Hunger Games yarn.
ReplyDeleteOh, my, goodness! That yarn is gorgeous! And those stitch markers! My my, you are truely blessed!
