YOP: Week 15

Not much of the fibery craft going on around here this week, as we had parent conferences...and I chose to do more reading this week...I don't like being read to, so I don't do audio books, so I have to choose between the fibery hobby or the reading one...

I finished the Demi-Monde: Winter, last night and was just sitting around...so picked up the nook and started playing Angry Birds Star Wars....the Hubs comes in to see what I was doing, then brings his nook in...and he plays Angry Birds Space...and we switch on and off for awhile...then we purchased Pacman and played that for awhile...I am not a gamer, but every once in awhile...but I did miss Dr. Who because of this... although it was a bunch of fun...

Worked on the taxes, we owe, as always, but having my sister look it over today to see if I missed any deductions...we don't own a home or have children, so our deductions are minimal...

Also changed my ringtone to the Game of Thrones theme....I love that music!!!!!

Oh and I'm again borderline anemic....not quite, but almost there....so need to watch my iron intake...

So what did I work on?   Because you are here for the fibery goodness! Not my life story.....

I started the sleeve on my Green Spring cardigan....I'm trying to decide if I want a long sleeve or to end it about elbow length..I've already modified it, as the pattern calls for a fitted sleeve and I didn't want that...

I also started a pair of Vanilla Socks...I'm calling them my Adele socks as the colorway is Rolling in the Deep...and I hear her sing it every time I say it...I lurves Adele's voice!!!

And I have the itching to wind more yarn to cast on...all the things!!!!

  1. I'm a 3/4 length sleeve sort ... even if I have long sleeves I push them up! Love that Rolling in the Deep colourway. A vanilla sock is the best plan to let the yarn shine!

  2. I agree with minding my own stitches, though long sleeve does give you both options. Is it light enough that you'll primarily be wearing it in spring? If so, 3/4 if you think you'll wear it more then that, I'd go long.

  3. Love your yarn choices! I also like your bunnies you did...so cute.
I prefer 3/4 also as long as they don't "bell" out. I've found bell sleeves dangerous as they catch on everything. Lovely...all of it!

  4. yeah..I'm a 3/4 for a spring sweater..winter..well long of course. Too funny about game paying with Hubbs...I am currently addicted to match 3 games..it really cuts down on knitting time! I love audiobooks..but it depends on the narrator..if I don't like then it's on to the print version..I am probably repeating myself..but I love that color green!
