The Lanesplitter.....squirrel!

So yes, I want to finish the Lanesplitter within the next two weeks....but this morning I clicked on Crafts from the Cwtch..and she mentioned Socktober...and yep..I'm now casting on a pair of socks...

I decided to go with a slightly Halloween color...and looked about myself, (as I have yarn piled around the computer) and found this

and whoop!  It fulfills two things....one it has Halloweenish colors and two,  it is Girl of Fire, inspired from The Hunger Games from Friday Studios..so I'll have these to wear to the release of Mockinjay on Nov 21..I can't wait!
