Stitch Along Wednesday - Week 5

So, I started something new....needed a palette cleanser, so to speak...and a mindless project, hence my Glenn Shall Live socks...yarn is by Desert Vista Dyeworks, in her If They Kill series...
I'm still looking for a Carol..
I hope to have them finished by the time TWD returns on Feb 14....

Today I came home from work early...I knew when I woke up that I should have called in sick..the coughing and sneezing were fine, but the splitting headache wouldn't go away....and it was hard to concentrate, let alone try to teach something....but many of my students have been out sick, so I knew it was a matter of time...

It's one of the bad things about not having a February break anymore...they used to clean the school during that time...so now the illnesses linger.....and our weather is not helping me...I always get sick when there is a drastic weather change...going from the 20's to the 50's has not helped....and it's going to get cold again...

So what are you up to?  Anything new?  Do you have to palette cleanse also?

No new projects but I do understand palette cleansers. I have to do them once in awhile.

With that said, new yarn came into my life.....I'll have a post within the next couple days. Anzula Yarns had a trunk show at my LYS. I *almost* came home with a sweater quantity of DK weight in 1 Red Shoe (which is, you know, RED!)....I settled on two skeins of For Better or Worsted and two skeins of the DK mentioned above....but not in the red color.

Good morning. :) I noticed you are looking for a Carol yarn from Walking Dead, I have had this link in my favorites and thought I would share it with you: www.modeknityarn.com/tag/the-walking-dead/

I hope you get better quickly! Big kudos to you for trying, I'm a major wimp when it comes to things like that (although I haven't had an 'out of the house' job for a couple of years so I'm not sure how I would be now...)
