1st Stash Acquisition 2018

So 2018 has started off with a Snow Bomb Cyclone!  Lots of snow and really frigid temperatures!  I have not been out of the house since Wednesday.....

Brrrr.......So I have been shopping online....although, as I said, I am going to have to slow it down, as we are buying a house....I may be going to Vogue Knitting Live next weekend, but not planning on buying much, just going to have some fun....

So these have come in the mail this week..

hue loco on Spun Sock (80/10/10) SW Merino/Cashmere/Nylon in Sucker Punch

and Clap Yo Hands on Phyllis Sock (75/25) SW Merino/Nylon - One Pot Wonder, non-repeatable colors.

I follow Hue Loco on Instagram and have been in love with some of her colors....so glad I finally was able to snag some....

And then, well I got some Christmas Stripe yarn....I did buy a Christmas stripe, but I wanted something with thicker stripes to it...

O Christmas Feet by Whitebirch Fiber Arts. a long seven color repeat....the green is thicker than he other colors.

And Santa Baby, a more even three stripe colorway

So, I'll add some of the ones I didn't get to last week:

I went to a Groovy Hues trunk show in a "new to me" yarn store: Twist Yarn Shoppe

Those on the East Coast will recognize the Dunkin' Donuts colors....I Run on Dunkin'

and a double skein of It's Elemental, My Dear Watson

Mad Fiber BAMF club: Madison Walker...not sure I will continue with the club this year, as I have so much of her yarn and I need to use it....

Red Bird was the October colorway for Knitted Wit's Her Story

Casa de Colores for November in honor of the Carmen Yulin Cruz, the mayor in San Juan

Apple Blossoms was December's colorway

I'm not sure I'm going to order this club this year.....I have only used one of the colorways so far....and that aforementioned need to cut down a bit.....but I did really love this club...

Nerd Girl's Random Fandom December was Men in Black on Foxy, a DK 75% Polwarth, 25% Silk.....I'm debating on keeping this club too......but it is so hard to get into this club, so not so sure I want to give up my spot...

At FFNE in Springfield in November, I bought....

Play at Life Team Free Will set to make a blanket.....colors are: Born at Night, Lumbering Piles of Flannel, Dropout with $6 and Mr. Comatose

Maleficient, it was the show colorway..such a deep, dark, rick purple....on the Iachos base

From a farm, cormo yarn to make socks, they were giving away a book too....

Yes, it's another Wonder Woman set, I have a plan for it!

I Get By....the main color is that olive stripe......

Except for the various Cascades I've bought for the baby hats, I think this catches me up!!!!  Whew!  I think this year is going to be the year of the Self Stripe Sock!  I have so many yarns to choose from and I really do love them so!!!!!  How about you?  Any plans for your stash for the New Year???
