Year of Projects: Year 6, Week 42

Good morning!  It's a rainy, cold morning here and I have a wicked headache.  I have to go out for a bit, but it will be quick.

I have a finish!!!!! My Brainzzz hat is done.  I used a free pattern from Kathy Doherty.  I didn't really do a right and left hemisphere.  I just wound the I-cord.  I didn't really think of that....oh well...I have no idea how much I-cord I knitted.  I stopped measuring at 14 feet....
I'm happy with it.....

I have a bunch of socks to finish and then a new poncho to start....
I never posted my Rhinebeck haul, it's not very big...

I got three skeins of yarn from Bumblebee Acres Farm because I have been coveting her Harry Potter colors on Instagram.  I got Professor Lupin, and then in a kit to make the Gathering Shawl is Mrs. Weasley Knits and I'll Await Your Owl. Plus I bought three mini-skeins for heels and toes.  I also got the Teacher's Pet print from Sheep Incognito and their 2020 calendar. I've always loved their prints and glad I finally bought one. I also bought some chicken socks from Red Maple and chicken earrings from Weeones.  I bought three things from Mayan Hands, which is a fairtrade booth that brings handmade items from Mayan women in Guatemala every year.  I buy something from them every year.  This year I bought a Santa, a sheep, and a chicken felted ornaments.  That's it...so not much of a haul....next week is the Fiber Festival of New England and I'll probably get some more there...That is it until Vogue Knitting in January.....

The brain hat is so fun. I hope with doing that much icons you used teeny tiny length needles, I’ve not found a needle short enough for me to try that length. Your stash looks lovely. The large skein with the deep purple and other colours looks gorgeous. The picture is super cute.

Super cute hat, just perfect for Halloweenish time! Good choices for the Rhinebeck haul and have fun at the Fiber Festival of New England. Here's hoping that you are headache free by the time you're reading this.

14 ft of icord!!!!! That's a lot. But the hat is great. Your haul is perfect and I am sure it will be used soon. Hope your head is better tomorrow.

The hat is awesome....I made cookies like that one year for Halloween. I love your Rhinebeck items! I'm going to check those shops if they have an online shop. I love the ornaments and the chickens. Too cute! Enjoy all your fiber festivities!
