The hat was made first for Makayla, Deb's baby. She exclaimed"Now I need something to match!" So hence the sweater.
I made the bodice first for Lindsey, but Leona asked if I could make it into soemthing else. So I created the sundress.
The strawberry set was for Allison. I made the sweater first, which I loved and with the left over yarn made her the skirt. I don't know if she ever wore it. The hat and scarf were for Krista's son Connor, but I really need to make him something else.
The read/blue sweater was for Joanie's grandson and was an ordered sweater. The buttons are baseballs. He is a Red Sox fan.
The poncho was for Lindsey and was a quick one I whipped up the night before I went to see them. The pink and red sweater, which I love was made to match the dress that I bought for Lindsey's birthday. i think it came out pretty good.
The hooded sweater and blue sweater were for Ashley's son Jack. The variagted was so easy to do and a very big hit!

Today I received this nice gift from my "Secret Pal" over at Crochetville. I love Crochetville, it's so nice to go to a community and people know what you are talking about. I'm shocked at the amount of people over there that are not appreciated. Everyone I know seems to really appreciate whatever I make for them..... The hook roll is really cool and the sticth markers, I'm not sure what they are made of, but I took a bite to make sure they weren't caramal and chocolate, cuz that's what they look like!
This was from the kirchen swap. I swapped with bklvr/Jamie in Montana. It was pretty cool. i got to liking potholders - might be what everyone gets this year for Christmas! I love the bag holder she made and the colors are fantastic and will match the kitchen. I love the tea cup, but have not tried it yet.
I finished one friendship square last night and continue to work on the starghan. They are pretty easy. I did join another swap - the natural yarn swap - that'll be fun. I have to finish up the SP swap first tho.'

Keira has asked where her bathing suit is.....I crocheted a bathing suit for her earlier this year. She would also like a wrap to go with it, but I haven't worked on that yet. Here is the bathing suit.
It was quite a challenge and took a long time to complete. It is made with Elann yarn that is cotton and elastic, so it was stretchy. I also lined it by hand, because everytime I use a sewing machine I break it!
This was another project that I was commissioned for. Luis asked me to make placemats for his wife. I have never made them before, but I really like how they came out. This was frustrating, as the yarn I started to use, I ran out of. Couldn't find any in the stores, but found some on ebay. However it was much thicker than the lot I had, so I ended up frogging and redoing them several times to get them the same size. But I think they came out pretty well.
I had a very sleepless night. First my hubby kept whacking me with his elbow, then I had some wicked dreams. I dreamt about the Wraith from Stargate:Atlantis (love that show!). I dreamt about my brother and I at Disney World (as adults - he has never been and there were lots of issues at the airport) and then I had this really weird dream about my wallet and my old bomber jacket and a Subway or bank and my car. Needless to say I did not sleep well, kept waking myslef up. Took a nap when I got home, but that was also restless. Hopefully can sleep tonight.

Larry's slippers - he calls them his mukaluks. He loves them. The first thing I've made for him. Excuse the mess!
What I'm working on now (at this moment - since Blogger was taking forever to upload) This is my first Starghan - it's going to be for Gabrielle's baby Henry. He's too cute, saw him today. Saw all my friend's babies this weekend. Saw Lindsey and Mikayla at the bowling with their parents. Lindsey has gotten so big and Mikayla is just adorable and still a little peanut.
