YOP Week 5

Good morning!  It snowed last night....I have 2 more days on my antibiotic...I am still sneezing and have the occasional cough, but my ears no longer are bothering me.  I will be glad to be done, as I think it is disturbing my sleep.  Since I have been on this new one, I sleep solid for about 3-4 hours, then am up for about 2 before I can fall asleep again..so then I take long naps when I get home and the cycle just repeats itself!

No finishes this week, as I really only worked on things yesterday.  Today I will be doing the swatch test for my dissertation, so that is the Saturn Sweater (no pic yet).  I also finished one of The Hubs "Feet Blankies" (his words) last night.  This is the third pair I've made him, he is very rough on them..why I will never make him socks.  They are tough on my hands, because the fabric is very thick.  I did another section of beading on the Camo Beaded Socks.  I also started two cowls.  One was started in January, but I forgot to log it..as I'd RIPPED most of it to restart it.  I also got a couple new purchases of yarn this week, hence the Crikey Cowl!

That Feet Blanket sock looks giant! More like a slipper than a sock. At least he wears his though.

Gavin's at no risk of wearing out the socks I made for him, since he NEVER wears them. He told me they're only for "special occasions". I'm just not sure what occasion would call for special socks :(

Gracey is not my name.... said...

They are slippers..he's so rough on them, which is why I said I'd never make him socks..he calls them feet blankets

Feet Blankies, that made me laugh. You've got soooooo many projects going, how do you decide which one to work on. Wow

Oh man! I hope get fully back to yourself this week--whatever is going around here where I live is knocking everyone down it seems. Knock on wood no one in my family seems to have caught it yet. After reading your update the thought came to mind, "she has a project for every mood she might be in! :)
*smiles*
