New England Fiber Festival 2013

The 4th annual Fiber Festival of New England was a success!  And a hit to the pocketbook! Wowza!

I saw, I talked, I shopped, I danced, I shmoozed, I geeked out!!!!  So much fun to be had!

First, the animals, because truly us fibery folks would be nowhere without them!

My friends at Burgis Brook brought some beautiful ladies..Xena and Delilah

The Ether Bunny - hard to tell which end was which

These twin girls, who were tired after long weeks of 4H kids tugging them around, one was Harmony and Melody from Palmer Family Farm

and some llamas...enjoying themselves....doesn't it seem like she is smiling?

And then there was this wild beast....
The Anna-zebra..out in the wild....very rare to catch a shot of one of these!

The yarns!  So many yarns this year!  I fondled old friends..and felt up some new ones....aahhh!

The greyish-blue skein on the end..I will be getting some in the future...this was Dirty Water Dyeworks...and she's an old friend.....that's a newish colorway..Moon Shadow...

Lots of pretty knits...

The seventh photo is of Farfalla , my friend and I both queued it...and the last one is a shawl I've had queued for awhile and the first time I've seen one...Leftie

Orange was a big color this year......

some tools of the trade.....

Knitting guys in kilts and cowboy hats....
Buttons!

(I forgot to go back and get these...darn!)

Some gorgeous works of art done in needle felting!

 And friends!!!
It was too late when I got home to take pictures of my haul...so that will be in a different post...

OMG, i can't believe those works of art are needle felting! I've never seen such gorgeous stuff! I especially love your photos of the animals. Are the sheep really twins? Does that happen with animals? That might be a really stupid question......lol
