YOP: Week 46

Today I want to CRAFT ALL THE THINGS!!!!!!!!!!  From 7-10 this morning, I made two newborn Minion hats....A friend had requested them for her two nieces, who are having baby boys..any day now!  Then I moved on to casting on Yellow Brick Road in some red sparkly yarn I have had for a very long time!  This is for a Nerd Wars Challenge....then I moved on to finish the hat I started during my workshops two weeks ago....finished it, but need to add a few more flowers.....then moved on to the wrap I started at Stitches...'Tis the Season.....

Yesterday I stash dived (dove?)...and pulled out a bunch of yarn.....I am going to make hats for my students (I have 17)..so pulled out some yarn for that....had to pull out the yarn for the Minions...Also pulled out some big puffy yarn I had....and the sparkly red yarn for Yellow Brick Road (the reason for the stash dive)

I added the next color to my Creekbed....but really need to get a move on this project..check in is at the end of the month...

My Lucy Hat is at a standstill as I ran out of yarn..I ordered another skein last night (after stash diving and NOT finding the second skein I swear I have..Rav database says so too!)...and the Lorna's Laces Dr. Who scarf kit...and the Catching Fire colorway from Lorna's Laces....

I also have to stop to pick up the supplies to make the AWESOME Katniss cowl!!!!!! I'm just going to get the yarn she used,as I could not find any super bulky at Stitches last weekend....

Haven't found my second Aurora mitt, which means going to have to order the yarn to make another one..sigh.....

This week is Parent/Teacher Conferences, so we have 1/2 days Mon-Wed....so hopefully I'll get some more done this week, as I won't be quite so tired...

Don't you love when inspiration hits? I usually have to brace myself for it... As it hits like a ton of bricks. Sounds like this week (today) was productive... Good job!

I have a love-hate relationship with my stash. I hate it when I want something and can't find it or when I have a project in my head and don't have the correct yarn for it. I love it when I find what I want and have projects that work and....

Great guns and full steam ahead, I say! Awesome projects and the cowls are so cool...I have to yet to make one but those 2 are in my "favs" now. I don't have much stash...nothing really nice that is but I'm working on it. Enjoy those 1/2 days!

Hi there! I saw that you are interested in the Katniss Cowl so I thought that I would just share my new pattern with you! I was having issues with the necks of other patterns because they were very stiff (rope, etc. being used) so I made this one. Totally everyday wearable! Check it out….(it's knitted btw)

I hope you love it!
Thanks

17 hats!! I found it hard going to do 2! Hope this week is indeed, more relaxed, as hoped.
