Stitches also tried to diversify and include sewing and quilting in the mix. I don't know enough about either to make any comments on that part of the show. But it was definitely smaller, in fact, in the past they had the whole hall, whereas this year, part of the hall was partitioned off.
My yarny BFF and I went to CT Sheep and Wool Saturday morning and spent a couple of hours....
It was a good morning....
Then we went on to Stitches United....we spent a couple hours there and then on Sunday, we went back to help out friend, Mary, in her booth.
Trying to get out of the garage!!!!!!
Then on Sunday, well after the grand prize was announced about noon, the place emptied out fast! It didn't help that the announcer told everyone to have a safe drive home!!!!!!!
That would be Mr. Hugzzz, otherwise known as "it takes balls to knit." He also is a background actor based in Vancouver, so he has been in TONS of the shows I watch!!!!!!! That is Lindsey from erin.lane bags, who has known Mr. Hugzzz for years, but didn't know that and freaked out about him knowing several of the actors, including Jesse Marrtin!!!
Then we played car tetris.....and were on our way....
I'm glad some form of Stitches is back and next year, it won't clash with CTS&W. I got some great stuff and talked to many people, which is always fun, but missed Franklin Habit....
I posted my stash acquisition a couple Saturdays back!!! Tomorrow I'll be heading to Mass Sheep and Wool with a stop at WEBS, so we'll see what else I acquire....
