Yarn Saturation

Can you reach a yarn saturation point? I buy a lot of yarn, I like yarn, I hoard yarn, but I think I have reached my yarn saturation point.

This doesn't mean that I won't wake up tomorrow feeling differently....

Since the beginning of July (and there were a few in June) I have visited 14 local yarn stores. Nine in Connecticut, one in Rhode Island, three in New York City and Webs in Massachusetts. I have also purchased a skein online from Canada and one from the UK. I also bought some yarn at a Joanne's sale....

The Hubs asked if I feel as if I have to buy something when I go into a yarn store. No, I don't feel obligated to buy and I have left without buying, but it's rare...

One reason I have been visiting so many yarn stores, is I am trying to get a comprehensive, updated list for Connecticut. I will put this on a separate blog or just a page on my blog....

This is my haul from the past month....It is missing one of the lavender skeins in the front, as it is already on the hook....

There are still two more yarn stores in CT, I would like to visit before school starts in two weeks.

ETA: I posted this about 10:45 in the morning. It is now almost 2:30 and that yarn is still on my bed. I just took pictures to upload to Rav. They will be a little dark, but didn't feel like lugging it all out to the porch. I already uploaded the stats yesterday, so just need to do the pics...

Every time you post photos of yarn and/or brick and mortor yarn stores I have a strong desire to pack up and visit Connecticut. For now though I will just drool over your stash. :)

WOW, I envy your stash! I could only dream of that much yarn. LOL, lucky girl.

Great blog, btw! I'm bookmarking it to keep up. Also saw you love to read...I'm a writer (and a reading fiend). We have WAY too much in common, it's scary. LOL

Ooh, that is a lot of yarn! I'm aiming to knit everything I brought with me, and then have a good splurge when I get back to the real world.

Enjoy knitting it!

Pretty, pretty. I recently took out the Rubbermaid bins that hold my stash. I'm pretty happy with what I have at the moment too. We'll see how long that lasts!
