Year of Projects: Week 14

Good morning!  It's been a week for me!  I ended up leaving work early on Thursday, as I had another spell of being lightheaded.  I had already made an appointment to see my doctor on Friday for a sinus infection...yep..got another one of those with a double ear infection....

So when I was a child I was diagnosed with anemia and a couple years ago, we ran some more tests and I was borderline at the time...so they drew some blood and are going to check me for anemia again...and we'll go from there....I've been having those episodes pretty frequently....and I do take iron, just not consistently....

but we are here for the projects....well I spent the day in bed yesterday and it became a Sock Saturday!

I worked on the H's socks and finished the leg of one...
I also worked on my Beaded Camos...and while I took the picture yesterday, I am not on the foot...I'll finish those today, hopefully...I'm probably going to rip out the toe on the first one, as the sock stretches to fit, but could use another 1/2 inch or so...
I have not worked on the Plum Pudding Starghan since I posted it on Wednesday or my dissertation...

Imagine my surprise when I got a sock yarn club in the mail yesterday!  Totally forgot I signed up for it...I saw the ad on Ravelry and it was an impulse buy!  I'll post it later in the week...

and more good news...this morning I got a text message saying we have a credit on our cell phone bill...and yesterday I got a refund check from my student loans!  I had paid them off about 2 months ago and must have overpaid!  Today I'm going to be working on our taxes....we owe every year, but maybe, with this trend, we won't this year!

About the anemia - I was constantly and chronically anemic for many years until I started cooking with cast iron pots. That seems to have done the trick. Iron supplements didn't work for me because my body responding by dumping even more iron :) Hope you get it sorted out!

Love the yarn for H's sock - very sunny!

Hopefully, these are just bouts of simple anemia..and nothing more complex..tis the season for sinusitits..allergy related? As I posted, I did the IRS thing, but we have my medical expenses..hence the refund! Please feel better!
