ugh. I hate moving classrooms-- it takes so much extra thought about all the routines and I'd rather be thinking about the lessons, not the how-tos of turning in homework and whatnot!
Good luck in the new school year, and I hope you get to stay put for awhile this time!
Hope the school year treats you well and I am looking forward to seeing your lacy mitts :-)
Good luck to you! I know set up can be time consuming.
Best of luck with the new school year, it's always quite hectic so I hope you get some yarn time in.
Moving your classroom sounds like a lot of work. I don't have my own classroom so I'll never have to do this. See your fo on Friday!
Good luck with the new school year. I actually took August off - didn't even check work email! - but I need to start that, as well as start setting up my classroom. Summer really is over. Sigh.
When I was student teaching, the teacher I was working under had been in her room for 15 years (half the time she had been teaching). She started out in middle school (6th grade) and was there for 10 years, then she transferred to elementary school (4th grade - different building, same district). She was in that room for something like 22 years by the time she retired a few years ago.
I won't even tell you what happened with the fire department...
Moving of any kind is exhausting....and cleaning too! That's what I've been doing cleaning, organizing, going through things. Good luck with the new school year and can't wait to see your lacy mitts and the Art of Brass and Steam. I'm frogging my Blackberry Salad blanket for the same reason!
Phew, that classroom looks like it needs a lot of organising, I hope you've got it all sorted to your satisfaction!
Wow. I took one look at your photo and felt the need for a nap! I hope getting organized happened fast this past week and you were able to knit a bit.
*smiles*
