Works In Progress:
WIPS: Crochet:
Round Ripple: (Started 2006 (?) Aiden)-not sure he'd want this anymore, being a high school freshman and all, but I think I'll finish it for him.
Around the World Afghan: (April 2010): about ¼ done - I looked at this recently and I'm still liking it, so I'll keep it...maybe make it a baby blanket instead.
Sunrise Sunset Afghan: this has been hibernating awhile, 6 squares done. I still love the look of this.
Tabard Tunic (NW Diss 2/1/14) - Haven't made a final decision on this yet.
Throwback Poncho 2/19/17
Knit:
Shark in the Woods (11/27/14)- I really love this, but it's a lot of cabling and I'm not a fan..about 1/2 done.
Vanilla fingerless mitts (12/25/15) - Think I'm going to frog and do different mitts or crochet them.
Zombie Vixen mitts (10/17/15)- why I may crochet the others...have these and still working on them, again cabling
Garter Path Shawlette (5/30/16)- I have frogged this a couple of times...
Swinging with Winkle (6/4/16)- I love this so much! Just need to finish it!
Meandering Top (5/20/16) - Totally forgot about this...could get it done to wear in spring...I think I was debating whether to do the bottom ruffle...it's not a good placement for me...
Bulky Cowl - this hurts my hands to work on...think I need slippery needles...
Splediferous Blanket - (4/15/17) Roald Dahl club, mitered blanket
Socks:
Kai-Mei: (April 2012) - has not changed, did not take new picture
Carlos and Arne socks (July 3 2015)- using a 9" needle...keep losing stitches.
Folding Chairs - (2/17/17) - Her Story plain vanilla
Scarves/Shawls:
Splashy Flowers: (May 2011) - add a motif scarf, don't see that being finished soon...
Light in Shadows (1/14/14) - I love this so much...need to start the new direction, so need to sit down and figure it out..
Willow Fields (9/6/14) - ran out of yarn, waiting on yarn
Sea Glass (4/13/17) - a Zauberball shawl
Bags:
KAL/CALs:
Fire and Blood (5/4/14) - not anytime soon
Outlander MKAL (8/8/14) - possibility of finishing this..the yarn is so yummy
So Ihave updated my list, adding three new projects.....the Splediferous Blanket...this was a Roald Dahl inspired six month yarn club from Handdyedby Kate and Motherof Purl....The Hubs had wanted a zigzag blanket, but I decided on mitered squares, which I'd never done...
This is the first square, Ms. Trunchbull's Newt, (which was our least favorite color...it doesn't pack as much of a punch as the others, but I'm liking it in the square) I'm just trying to decide if I want to do singular colored squares or mix them up...I had put colors together for two toned squares....also haven't decided on size..thinking maybe 10 inches...
I also added in my Folding Chairs socks, which I haven't worked on in a bit....the color is inspired by Shirley Chisolm, who said, "if they don't give you a seat at the table, bring your own folding chair!"
It's a crap photo....but love the colors in this and love the way it is pooling...
The last new one, Sea Glass, doesn't have much progress yet....
It was one of my three! Zauberball purchases last week!
If you want to see my other purchases...I did a massive Stash Acquisition post yesterday!
I also worked on my friend's pussyhat, almost done and my Multnomah Shawl, but it doesn't look much different yet....I think I may be missing something....but this is good for now....Have a great week and if you want to see what others are doing, please check the group out...

How cool! I love the whole Roald Dahl yarn club. The first book of his I ever read was "James and the Giant Peach." I was in bootcamp student teaching and was assigned by my mentor teacher to teach that to one of the reading groups. I've seen the animation and liked it.
I love the colouring of the socks and the mitered square is lovely. I wouldn't line the bag, just use it and it is an fo!
Love your pussy hat in your ravatar. Mitered blankets are very addictive. Proceed with caution!!
I checked out your stash acquisitions posts, and wow! You've got some beautiful new yarns! It's going to be fun watching your mitered squares blanket grow.
What great projects! I like all of them and love the Shirley Chrisholm quote and socks to match! Your mitered square is looking good and I'll have to go look that one up....you know I'm a sucker for blankets! LOL! Zauerball? Be still my beating heart as I have yet to get one of those beauties.....too many KALS requiring special yarns or special patterns....I sh old get one though just in case! Have a great week!
