Stitch Along: Week 21

Evening all!  So we have 18 more school days, but the kids are D.O.N.E!!!!!  walked into the cafeteria today and it was as if all the kindergarten and 1st graders had LOST THEIR MINDS!!!!!!  My class would not stop talking today......see we had Field Day (Fun Day) last week...for various reasons, it got moved...including many snow days.....and school is done for them...but in reality we have three more weeks....but all the testing is done....we are all just ready for summer...luckily it has been a wet and chilly spring and we are not roasting in our classrooms yet (an occasional day)...I do need to get caught up on some correcting and grading....but that has to be done by the 7th...and we go until the 16th...really? REALLY?????

So...I actually worked on quite a few things...but did I take pictures?  I don't know..let me check the camera card, cuz I'm too lazy to go get my phone and the plug...that would be a no...so I'll go get it...be right back.....

First question....I've never added a contrast heel...which do you recommend?  And I'm using the 9" needles for this...I usually use DPNs...any advice (and sorry IG followers, I know I posted this already)

New crochet shawl with Debbie Bliss Cotton Denim DK....I think this will be a great shawl and will get used A LOT!!!!  The hook was a thank you gift from a friend, because I donated yarn to her church.

Got to the toe...going to have to tink back...it's too big, so will have to start the decreases earlier....

There may have been a few rows on some other things....but these were the major ones......

I did post a mini stash acquisition on Saturday, if you'd care to take a peek...nothing like the last two Saturdays...and oh yeah this Saturday is Mass Sheep and Wool...expect some more stashing...

Oh and started a new medicine this week...so I may actually be able to go out in the sun...but there are other side effects.....sheesh!
