Hmm...don't think I've done much this week...I did blog a few times all ready, so that may be why...and we were experiencing a heat wave and I just did not have the desire to knit or crochet.....
So let's take a look at those lists...
July goals:
- finish or close to finish the Kiss Me, I'm Irish
- figure out and work the Fish Kiss Lips heel on Keep Swimming
- swatch for the Waves Tank, then knit- cast on for the Tegna top,
- swatch the Vintersol sweater and the Rainbow Cardi
- finish the Beekeeper Cowl
- finish the Ventian Cowl (?)
- finish the Colourscape Cowl
- start kid gifts, bear sweater, elephant sweater, sheep hat, girl sweater
I have taken a few things off the list and added a few things to the goals list. I have four kids I need to make gifts for...two newborns and two - two year olds....I'm making sweaters for two of them, maybe three and a hat for the fourth one....we'll see....
I started two KAL/CAL...the four day Beekeeper one...this was my progress at the end of three days, so it's going to take longer than four...
My Venetian Cowl is just going to take awhile...the stitch, while looking tall, creates a short fabric, so it takes a long time to finish anything..
And the Colourscape Cowl got another color....
That is pretty much all I worked on for WIPS.....BUT......
Looky there I have a finish...I did finish the Sockhead hat for my friend Danae
Folded and unfolded for a more slouchy fit.
Yarn is Peggyjane Fibers in Farewell
Needle: US 0 or 2.00 mm
So that is it for this week...and of course my crazy lists just keep getting longer....I hope to finish, at least the Colourwork Cowl this week...we'll see....

Works In Progress:
WIPS: Crochet:
Round Ripple: (Started
2006 (?) Aiden)-not sure he'd want this anymore, being a high school
freshman and all, but I think I'll finish it for him. He is now a
sophomore.
Around the World Afghan: (April 2010): about
¼ done - I looked at this recently and I'm still liking it, so I'll
keep it...maybe make it a baby blanket instead.
Sunrise Sunset Afghan: this has been hibernating awhile, 6 squares done. I still love the look of this.
Tabard Tunic (NW Diss 2/1/14) - Haven't made a final decision on this yet.
Throwback Poncho 2/19/17 - would like to finish for the fall
Knit:
Learn to Knit Afghan:
(started 2010): 3 squares done, I put this in the giveaway yarn
bags..not thrilled with colors....will use squares at school for water
bottles..
Shark in the Woods (11/27/14)- I really love this, but it's a lot of cabling and I'm not a fan..about 1/2 done.
Vanilla fingerless mitts (12/25/15) - Think I'm going to frog and do different mitts or crochet them.
Zombie Vixen mitts (10/17/15)- why I may crochet the others...have these and still working on them, again cabling
Garter Path Shawlette (5/30/16)- I have frogged this a couple of times...
Swinging with Winkle (6/4/16)- I love this so much! Just need to finish it! Added a few rows
Meandering Top (5/20/16) - Took it out, at the separation of arms, looks really big!
Multnomah (8/21/16)- stuck on feather and fan edging, have too many stitches, in timeout. Stitch count continues to be off.
Bulky Cowl - this hurts my hands to work on...think I need slippery needles...
Splediferous Blanket - (4/15/17) Roald Dahl club, mitered blanket
Selbu Mitts - 3/26/18
Socks:
Kai-Mei: (April 2012) - has not changed,
Carlos and Arne socks (July 3 2015)- using a 9" needle...keep losing stitches.

Light in Shadows (1/14/14) - I love this so much...need to start the new direction, so need to sit down and figure it out..
Willow Fields (9/6/14) - ran out of yarn, waiting on yarn
My Shelly Valentine (2/10/16) - should finish for this year's Valentine's Day, yeah, that did not happen
Bags:
Beach Bag: (started May 2010) Just needs lining sewn in, I used it this year without the lining...so may just call it a day on this....
KAL/CALs:
Fire and Blood (5/4/14) - not anytime soon
Outlander MKAL (8/8/14) - possibility of finishing this..the yarn is so yummy

I love how your beekeeper is the colour of honey. So sad about the sudden death of your friend's son- so very sad.
The hat is beautiful. The beekeeper is coming along nicely - four days seems ambitious for anyone that has other things to do!
Your WIPs look great, especially the Venetian Cowl.
So sorry about your friend's son....how awful to lose a child no matter what age. I've been watching the drama unfold in Thailand trying to get those young boys out of the cave. Those parent must be frantic.
LOve the sockhead....I've had that one on my list for several years now. Beautiful yarn too. The cowl is gorgeous ...the 2nd project and again beautiful yarn. I think you got quite a bit done!
I love that hat!!
Ali @SimplySummerStreet
That Sockhead slouchy hat is really fun looking. I love the colors!
Such a pretty yarn for the Sockhead hat! You have a lucky friend.
Love the Sockhead Slouchy hat, such fun colours. You have achieved a lot this week.
Cool sock head hat. Your friend is very lucky to have you as a friend. You have some very nice WIPs going on. I think you got quite a bit accomplished this week.
The hat is lovely. Nice colorway. You sure have a very long project list. I never have any idea what I'm doing.
WOW....your list is fantastic, and did you forget you need to sleep sometime, lol LOve the look so far of your beekeeper KAL. I have many projects in the works, but have really been focused on just one.......sorta of switch for me.
I do the beekeeper cowl. I can't wait to see the finished project. Although how they think it's a four day project is beyond me. My list is always growing but that's a good thing right? Always on the lookout for new fun ideas!
Cute hat - I like it slouchy!
Baby knits should be fun! Sometimes I wish I had babies to knit for ;)
All your projects looks beautiful and colorful. Keep going:)
Great projects, and I really really love the colour of your 'Beekeeper' - so rich and gorgeous!
I like the yarn you used for that beanie. I'm thinking about joining up w/YOP again. It's marinating.
