Year of Projects: Week 11

Oh look at that!  Two weeks in a row!  And I again finished something on my list!  Without starting anything new this week!

It still needs to be blocked, but here is my Willow Fields shawl.  I started it in September of 2014. Finished March 16, 2019.  I did run out of yarn and it took awhile to get another skein.  It was a club yarn.  First person I asked to buy a skein, she was waiting for her first baby to be born.....but several months later I PM'd her and never heard back......so I tried again last month and I was able to snag a full skein of it....and she only charged me $10 for it!!!!!  The dyer did offer to dye me another skein, but the dyelots would have been so off....

Pattern:  Maedwe by AnneLena Mattison in the book, Free Spirit Shawls: 20 Eclectic Knits for Everyday
Yarn: O, Willow, Willow, Willow on Mad Color Slink.  It was a club yarn

I now want to finish ALL THE SCARVES/SHAWLS!!!!! But I'll probably go back to a sock project, although I did find my Miss Winkle and I adore the yarn, so really want to finish that one too!

2019 Finishes!!!!!

Around the World Afghan: (April 2010): about ¼ done - I looked at this recently and I'm still liking it, so I'll keep it...maybe make it a baby blanket instead.

Shark in the Woods (11/27/14)- I really love this, but it's a lot of cabling and I'm not a fan..about 1/2 done.
Vanilla fingerless mitts (12/25/15) - Think I'm going to frog and do different mitts or crochet them.
Zombie Vixen mitts (10/17/15)- still working on them, again cabling
Garter Path Shawlette (5/30/16)- I have frogged this a couple of times...
Swinging with Winkle (6/4/16)- I love this so much!  Just need to finish it! Added a few rows

Bulky Cowl - this hurts my hands to work on...think I need slippery needles...

Beekeeper Cardigan - 7/1/18

Light in Shadows (1/14/14) - I love this so much...need to start the new direction, so need to sit down and figure it out..

Bags:
Beach Bag: (started May 2010)  Just needs lining sewn in, I used it this year without the lining...so may just call it a day on this....

 KAL/CALs:

Great shawl you finished. So glad you were able to get another skein of the yarn. Miss Winkle is another great shawl pattern and I would love to see it completed. The edging on it is so different. I wonder how hard it is to do?

Yay for another finish and scoring a skein to finish it! I did Miss Winkle five years ago and remember it as being fun. I don’t guarantee that my memory is correct past five minutes, let alone five years, though.
