Year of Projects, Year Seven, Week 15

Good afternoon!  It is afternoon here, time for lunch!  So I do have a finish, it was not on my list.  Three former students are having babies and one just had his...so I made a Yoda hat and lightsaber for him!
The hat pattern is Wise One Beanie by Elizabeth Roggasch and is free on her website.  The lightsaber I made up as I went along.  The first version was too skinny, so I had to rip it all out and start over.

I have several socks in progress....got heels in on three socks, down to toe decreases on one of them.

I've cast on several projects, but the baby stuff is the priority now.  Two more are due in weeks, so the Wee Cria needs to be finished and I have to decide what I am making for the other baby.

I will have another video going up this week, but it's not ready to upload yet...so if you are a subscriber, thank you!  I have 20 now!

I guess that is all for this week.  I'll see you next week.

What a cute gift. I am sure the parents will love it. Hopefully they will send photos of baby wearing it.

OMG the light sabre is so cute! (I always thought they were called light savers and never understood the meaning!) I guess I needed my ears checked long before I got my hearing aids.

Good to see you! I hope you are well. The baby Yoda stuff is darling! Too too cute!
You are very talented to do the lightsaber yourself without a pattern. Baby things are fun to make! Take care and stay well!

It looks like you too get some things done these days.

In the morning I go to school and work from there, as it is just 15 minutes away and I have all my stuff there. In the afternoons I check into Teams from time to time to see whether the students have a problem or a question. I have plenty of time to finish up long planned things.

We have a date when school is going to start again. But no arrangements yet. Hopefully, the government decides to open school with no restrictions. Otherwise I'd rather stay home and do distance teaching.

Take care!
