Year of Projects, Year 7 - Week 16

Good morning!  It's going to rain here today and mainly rain for the next week....that'll be great for my joints..NOT!  I did get my infusion this past Monday...it took three tries and hurt so bad!  I couldn't use my hands much for the next two days...I'm still bruised....

But I decided this week I needed to get some socks done and off the needles!  I finished two...not a pair and cast on their mates....and I have another close to finish....I'd love to get them off the needles...I think I still have about 10 or so sock projects...and so much yummy yarn to cast on!

Manic Pixie Dream in Cloudy with a Chance of Rain....that foot looks so fat....my feet are super skinny....it does fit.
Paton's in Blue Ragg.....again the foot looks big....these will be nice in boots for the winter...if we ever have winter again....
NightOwl Fibers in Grinchmas...I'm about ready to start the toe decreases on this...

So that is about it for me this week....I'm sleepy and think I'm going to lay back down for a bit....I've been having a lot of disturbed sleep...damn menopause.....

But I do have two videos to link...last week's went up on Tuesday, I believe...and then this weeks...this week, I do a tour of my Yarn Loft/Classroom/Dressing Room.....

I'm up to 21 subscribers!  Yeah!  Thank you if you are a subscriber!

Great socks. Love the color in Grinchmas. What infusion meds do you take for your RA? Or do you have something other than RA?

I'm so sorry to read that your infusions cause such discomfort. Lots of rain here, too! But it's (mostly) warm and beautifully green. All your socks are looking great, Tammy!

Our weather is due to turn this week as well! Hope the pain subsides soon. That is the trouble with sock yarn - there is too many gorgeous skeins and not enough time to knit al the socks!

I can't imagine how you knit socks when your hands are sore. Good progress on them. Well done. We are expecting rain for the next week too. I hope it doesn't mean the blossoming trees won't get their fair share of bees.

I wonder if it is an optical illusion that the socks look wider. They do say horizontal stripes on a jumper make people look wider so maybe same with socks? I’m behind with all the podcasters I watch and listen to as I’ve been gardening so much listening to audio books. We have some rainy days forecast so I’ll try to catch up,

Ouch, about the infusions! Is that for RA? I used to take Enbrel and gave myself the injections but now I take hydroxychloroquine...if I can get it now that everyone thinks it's a cure for COVID-19 but now they're on to injecting disinfectants and bleach so maybe I'll be able to fill my prescription?
Your socks are awesome! What great yarns you have. I love rainy weather as it is so nice to cozy up with some knitting! I wrote down your podcast so I will be binge-watching you now to catch up! It's officially on my list now so it won't slip between the cracks! Have a great week! Are you remote teaching? Stay safe and stay well!

Yay for zooming through all of those socks! Boo for feeling bad. Those are great yarn colors, especially the rainbow.
