YOP: Week 41

What a week!  Because we had a 3 day weekend coming up, this week lasted f.o.r.e.v.e.r. and I had a workshop on Tuesday, so only taught for 4 days!  This is a 4 day week, but Rhinebeck is next weekend, so I bet this coming week will also take forever to end! I'm planning on doing two weeks worth of lesson plans, so I don't have any work next weekend.

Onto the projects!  I have finished crocheting The Really Big Bag, which I want to use for Rhinebeck.  I will be fulling (felting) it today....I can't wait to see how it turns out!

I have also finished my Age of Brass and Steam, although I have not been able to get a very good picture of it!

So those two will be added to the completed list....

I am also still sorting through the stash and bagging things....this is good because it will keep me from buying too much next weekend...I'll never say I won't buy anything, but I seriously have a yarn addiction and I have so much of the stuff!

This week I need to cast on my dissertation, Creekbed, and I am going to cast on another shawl, Bedford Springs, which I added to my list last week, I've had the yarn and pattern for a couple of years.

I also need to make a couple of baby hats for a friend, both of her nieces are pregnant....I still have time.....one needs to be a minion hat....

Look forward to seeing a picture of your felted bag. I've only felted once, but it's fun to see how much it changes. Sounds like a busy week. Hang in there.

I think your stash and my stash should get together and make babies. Then we'd have ALL THE YARN!

Also, you're much nicer than I am...I'm a bit of a selfish knitter. Oops.

Hope the bag turns out great, can't wait to see a pitcutre of it and the other finishes. Enjoy the long weekends.

Have fun at Rhinebeck! I don't know that anyone has ever managed to come away without buying yarn. My strategy is to hold out for yarns that I've never seen before and can't buy locally :)
