OMG! Am I Out of Shape!

Today I started my summer goal of trying to work out the majority of the week…I was dying 6 minutes in!

I chose to ride the bike and not walk and I chose the cardio function…..and I was dripping sweat by 6 minutes and ready to quit….I quit at 17 minutes, but I rode over six miles….

Then I went grocery shopping….nothing stops the buying of the crap food than having just worked out…..except for my one addiction…

I know it’s empty calories and not good for me, but I have tried to give it up.  I don’t drink as much of it in the summer, but I do still drink it…..

And no I don’t drink diet, 1) it taste nasty to me and 2) the fake sugar they use does not agree with my insides…

The good thing is I did weigh myself this morning and I have not gained any weight…I thought I had, in fact I am down a pound or two since the last time I weighed myself many months ago…so my goal is to lose at least a dress size, if not 2 by the time I go back to school….I’m not good at doing this, as I tend to sabotage myself,,,,but I’m at that point…I’ve got to do it for my health…

I need to start working out, too......but it's difficult with Little Man because I can't take him to the gym with me (though I can go on walks with him - which I do). And with Husband being sick and having surgery this week, the chances of a workout or getting slimmer and slimmer.

Hrm.

But, that's okay. I'll get around to it. Someday. Maybe when I'm dead.

Good for you! I need some sort of action plan too. Not to lose weight but yes for fitness. I think being fit makes you happier and I so need a bit of happiness in the depths of winter.
keep up the good work.

I am still working on the weight also. I have lost about 7lbs but have not been excersising very much lately. I would like to get down 2 sizes but will be happy with 1.

Gosh, I need to start working out too ... it's been too long since I've properly committed to being healthy.

Thanks for the reminder.
