YOP #14...Just a little bit....

Yesterday I posted a Stash Saturday, but then I went shopping! And received another yarn club shipment...So I came home to this
Seriously, if you like color....you would love MadColor yarns....this is inspired by the Children of Lir folktale....

The other yarns I'm not going to show, as they are for my swap partner's gifty.....but they are sparkly...

So there is still something wrong with my Rainbow Wings....I must have put the stitch marker in the wrong place, as this wedge is significantly thinner than the other two...so I'm going to have to tink back....there is a permanent place marker and a traveling one...so I have to figure it out....

Other than that, not worked on anything, except swappy stuff and I can't show that yet...this week is 4 days of parent conferences, 3 half days, then night conferences...I also have my formal observation and then another informal observation for the special program I teach...and then next week..glorious spring break....I need it, the kids need it....

Oh I love the look of that yarn in the skein... I just worry about how it'll knit up. I guess I'm risk averse when it comes to that sort of thing :)

Sorry about Rainbow Wings. That's the sort of thing I find really frustrating ... especially on a large project! Hope you get it fixed up quick and that it behave properly from here on!

I have had to take days off from school to assist my mom. As you know, teachers can't take an hour off, 1/2 day or full day. My mom's appointments are mid-day, so I've had to take full days off. The bonus is that I've been able to get caught up with some of my sped paperwork. AND some spinning/knitting!

So sorry to hear about the shawl giving you problems. At least you are talented enough to back up. I think that's why I'm afraid to tackle anything too large as I'm not very good at that but getting better! And sometimes just able to live with the mistake which is good for me because I used to be a perfectionist! Knitting is good therapy. LOL! I hope you get through your week and are able to enjoy your break. Take care!

I am confident you will figure that little oopsies out. The skein is fun, like a parrot in the rainforest.
