YOP #20/21

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Wow..another two weeks went by with just one post....yeesh...I always have intentions...I take pictures...I have ideas...I just don't sit down at the computer and post them...but we have 19 days left of school...so I'm sure I will be posting more regularly...

and I decided I needed to update all of my other online areas....so I'm going to try and stay on top of the tumblr/instagram/goodreads threads, as well as my Facebook and Ravelry....I spend the majority of my time on Ravelry or reading blogs....and maybe, I should update to google+, what do you think?

So what you actually came for is stitchin' content.....I do have new yarnz to add too...but I'll hold off on those for Stash Saturday....

I am in 3 swaps atm, so some of my stuff is for that...I can show the newest, as it's a secret swap and she doesn't know I'm her partner....and well if she stumbles upon this...oops...

It's Age of Brass and Steam in Remember, Remember The Fifth of November, inspired by V for Vendetta.  It's a Nerd Girl Random Fandom.  I knitting is double, as it's a 4ply and the pattern calls for 8 ply and I went down a needle size....I've never knit double before..so new experience...

I communed with some sheep yesterday..and bought some yarn....

I just stepped outside and it is gorgeous out...it was suppose to rain...I was planning on knitting all day...and probably will still do that..once I get done updating things online...

I am two clues behind on my Fire and Blood, so need to get on that too....I wound the second skein for my Rainbow Wings...so excited to finish this!  I still have 2 panels to go on it...

Short week this week, yeah!  Then it is June and closer to the end of the school year...so much to do the last couple of weeks!

The weeks sure are flying by it's so hard to keep up with them sometimes especially if your busy. Age of brass is looking good, I love the yarn.

Age of brass and steam is looking great. As to Google +, I updated, but I am not sure about any benefits as yet - not totally sure if I am using it to its full potential!

The idea of being in three swaps at a time makes my head spin... particularly if shawls are involved :)

I've held yarn double on things before but I found it made the fabric a bit stiffer.

Don't feel bad. I only blog once a week now for fiber Arts Friday. I do keep my FB and Instagram going (thankful that I can cross post that way)

Oh Rav, what a rabbit hole it is.

How are the swaps going? I've been burned in a few so now I don't want to be a part of any. It's sad when you put so much work into a swap then get lack of effort and thought in return. Gaaaaa

You're always such a busy bee, as always an inspiration! Your shawl looks incredible! I've had the same idea lately to be a bit more into the social media, so I can relate to your decision, just be careful that you're doing it for fun, not because you feel you must!

Love your Age of Brass and Steam...I need to look at that one. Plus, I'm interested in your Learn to Knit blanket. Your yarn is so pretty!
