Week 4 - Year of Projects

Good morning!  We have finally had a significant amount of snow, with a storm yesterday...and it looks like a major storm coming in for Tuesday...and then another possible one for Friday....think I'll be getting at least one snow day this week!
We shall see!  Seems like we will be getting a winter's worth of snow in one week's time....

So onto the projects....This week I've worked on a few things...I received the latest kit from Stacey Trock on Friday...and it was a snowman, so, of course, I made it on Saturday! Then I made a head band for someone at school...see this is what I hate...he didn't ask me to make it, I volunteered and then promptly mentally kicked myself...because now I'm committed to it...grrr....I hate when I commit myself to things...

Although I do have to start a wrap for a friend's mom....she's in a facility now, as her dementia has gotten too much for home care...it's a sad story....

I also made another quick cowl to wear to school on Friday....I posted it on Friday

Other than that, working on my Hawk Baktus, hopefully to finish for the game on Sunday....and I also put some rows into my Zuzu's Petals, working on the heel of Stepping Stone and got to the heel of Dark Side of the Moon.....

I love how bad weather outside always seems to buy us time for our knitting and crocheting projects inside,

Have fun with all the snow coming your way! And it's very thoughtful you're knitting something for your friends mom.

Hope you get a snow day but just one or two, not too many to lengthen the summer holidays :)
You've been busy putting in work on lots of different projects and my mouth always commits me to things before my brain has gotten to think them through, it's a pain in the butt!

I hate when I commit myself too! What's up with that? Why can't I learn? LOL!
I'm thinking maybe that is why I want to move up North again. Not enough cold weather to make me want to curl up with my yarns? Lucky you with the snow!
I love your big cowl but for some reason the bulkies are harder on my hands. Or was that just when I did that I-cord? I may have to try again as I really love the stripes too!
I just realized you're the moderator...some days I am so slow to catch on....ok, most days. I'll pray for snow days for both of us but the odds are more in your favor. Enjoy!

Funny, we just had a discussion this weekend about the things I get myself into! Gavin can't understand how I keep getting "sucked into" this and that!

As for the snow ... better you than me!

I used to do multiple things at one time, now I find I only have 1 or 2 items going. Must change that! Variety is the spice of life?
