Year of Projects - Week 1

So I am starting my fourth year of projects....I thought it was only my third, until I went back and looked....this is why I love blogging...could never keep a diary or journal, but love this.....

So let's see where we are.....

Completed Projects:
The Dork Socks (technically 2015) 12/31/15

Works In Progress: I frogged three more projects yesterday...they just weren't working out...so this is the WIP list I am down to....some of the stuff I am frogging, because I made it with acrylic and I know I'll never wear it...so I donated it and the yarn....I also went through my yarn yesterday and have 2 big bags to donate...

Misc:
Sunflower: (August 2012) Need a back and to felt

Projects In Mind: So this was my bed yesterday
I sorted through all my yarn and projects.....I put all shawl/cowl projects in one tub and all hat/mitt/other projects in another tub.  The green basket on top has all skeins that are already wound...
as does the basket on the side....

So all of my "Projects in Mind" that are listed already have the pattern and the yarn....I am going to try and work from that list this year....I added some that were not on the list, but were in my queue/library on Ravelry and I had bought the yarn....I am combining this with Knit Your Library this year. So this list is much longer and seems more daunting than ever, but except for gift projects, I am going to try exclusively to knit/crochet this list....Speaking of crochet...I realized the list was almost exclusively knit...so I went through my crochet mags and picked out a couple more projects...they are not on this list, as I don't have the yarn set aside yet, when I do I will add them to the list....

I will also be making things from these three books

Sorry can't get picture to turn

I love seeing how others organize. And thanks of the link to "Knit Your Library" ... I love this idea.
Can't wait to see the Star Wars characters!

I think the name change to Knit Your Library was a good idea. I really ought to give it a try again this year. Love those mini patterns. I have the Night Before Christmas one. Maybe I could work through it all year.

You've inspired me to go through my books and magazines and see what treasures might be lurking there. In fact...sharing some of my favorite crochet books sounds like a great YOP post one of these weeks! Cool!
