Year of Projects - Week 3

The only thing I completed was Yoda.....I did add rows to several other projects...

Completed Projects:  I finished a pair of socks and crocheted a quick cowl.
The Dork Socks (technically 2015) 12/31/15
Screw You Rainbows socks (1/6/16)
Quick Pink cowl (1/7/16)
Yoda (1/10/16)

So I worked on my Capelet #2, adding another red stripe and another blue stripe...I'm just making it up as I go along and just going to go until I run out of yarn...

I woke up at 5:30 this morning with my brain telling me I HAD TO WORK ON JOHNNY'S SOCKS.  So I grabbed the project bag and tried to figure out where I was in the pattern, it's probably been close to a year since I worked on them...I ripped all the way back to the cuff, because I couldn't figure out where I was...

Saturday I pulled out the Outlander shawl to work on...I'm on the third section (of four), so almost done...the crossing of the slipped stitches is happening...my stitch count is off...but I don't care...I'm just gonna get it done!

Looks like you've made a good restart on Johnny's socks. I'd be in the same boat, I expect ... ripping back because I'd lost my place. The fear of that is what keeps me going until the second sock is done. Well that and a shortage of sock needles :)

Mmm Johnny's socks look lovely and the shawl will be great, even with the wrong count. I would do the same, if it looks fine I would just want to get on with it!

I've been digging into the WIP pile lately too and had a couple of concerns about how to start back, it's not always successful unfortunately. I keep thinking that is a reason not to put down a project for later. Your socks are wonderful and I can't wait to see your completed shawl! If the count is off you'll be the only one who knows..

I'm afraid I've succumbed to the startitis bug. But this week I will conquer. At least one or two things, anyway. Your projects look great. And I can't wait to see the finished items (if that's any motivation ;^)

I have startitis too!! I am trying to avoid it by knitting a charity hat for a quick fix. I just finished the 2nd item of the year and with 2 big projects going I am just wanting to knit anything but them! I am relying on this hat to satisfy that finish dragon.

You've made good progress on Johnny's socks again, pity about the ripping back but probably much less of a headache than trying to figure out where you were. Love the colours in your outlander shawl, hopefully not long until it's off the needles and then you can indulge in the startitis.

Your Outlander Shawl is looking gorgeous! That`s still one I have tossed in my WIP pile somewhere. Maybe someday I will finish it...
