Hi there! Welcome to the first Wednesday of 2015....the post-holiday edition....have we all survived the holidays? What's going on for the new year? I've joined up with several alongs and KALs...am looking for a crochet along, as I feel as if my crochet has been left in the dust..almost all projects are knit...AH..I just remembered I have some of Stacey Trock's kits..I think I have three that are unmade...
So I have the Love Your Library on Tuesdays, Stitch Along Wednesday, A Hard Knit Life (and there goes the Annie song) is going to start Fresh Off Your Needles Friday, this coming Friday, and Year of Projects on Sunday...that leaves Monday, Thursday and Saturday...I'll usually do a Stash Saturday every couple of weeks...and sometimes I join in on Tuesdays with Travel Tuesday....which I may post on Mondays and just link....as I'm going to continue the Connecticut A-Z series on Mondays..so a busy blog...not sure I'll post to each one every week..but I'll try...I also started posting today gratitude shots on Instagram....I'm going to try to do that daily.....
I also joined in with Stash in Oregon on their Zuzu's Petals KAL.....and I bought the yarn and pattern for the new Downtown Abbey MKAL.....although I never finished the Game of Thrones or the Outlander ones...
So...from the top clockwise: The purplish and grey ones are for the Downton Abbey MKAL...the orange are my H's Everyday socks...I'm at second sock turning the heel, grey is my Light in Shadows..brown and olive is my Zuzu's Petals, green and brown is my Willow Fields, and green in center is my Stepping Stones..except for the Downton Abbey, I did work on all these this week...
Since I start back to work today, less time will be spent on projects..I've pretty much had about 10 days of knitting time....
So the Zauberball...I really, really want some crazy socks from it, so I may be casting on some time this week....probably just a vanilla pattern, but thinking of doing a toe-up again...just to see....maybe use Wendy Johnson's Socks From the Toe-Up, another book in my library....
On My Nightstand: The Knitters Book of Socks and Girls of Tender Age, which is a memoir of growing up in Hartford, CT...
How about you? What are you stitching? What's on the nightstand? Got a crochet CAL you can recommend? Leave a message if you do, with a link, thanks!
If you'd like to link up with us...please do..and please link back...thanks!

Since you mentioned Stacey Trock, have you checked out her Ravelry forum? (http://www.ravelry.com/groups/freshstitches)
I'm sure there are other groups on Ravelry that are running CALs. There's also Kim Gussman (CrochetKim) on Yahoo Groups.
I must be sick because I only have 1 active knit going on right now. I need to change that condition! LOL
Ooh, does "fresh off the needles" friday take up the place of Tami's Amis FO Friday?? I'd been posting on Tami's semi-regularly when I noticed she started lagging in the frequency of the link up. I'll definitely check this link up out! I'll be sure to come back and post here next Wednesday--nothing posted on my blog today to link up unfortunately!
Sounds like you are going to have a happily busy 2015.
On my needles --- Shark Infested Waters socks.
Stitching --- little sheep ornament
On My Nightstand -- Maeve's Times by Maeve Binch (a cute, funny read)
Have a good day back at work. Looking forward to seeing all your projects move along. :-)
Thanks for getting a new Wednesday linky party! I missed it!
I should be in bed ... it's late. But as I've promised ... It's a tutorial. I'm making some monster babies and are going to call them worry eater family. Thanks for hosting the party! Regula
Richard, yeah I belong to Stacey's group, plus I read her blog..and I get her kits...so I do have some stuff to work on..just forgot about it...and I'm lucky enough to have met her several times too....
Emily, yes its taking over for FO Friday..we both thought name changes were in order, if you were going to start them up again....
