WIP Wednesday and Yarn Along

It’s been a couple of weeks….

DSC01473

Sorry for the horrendous picture, it’s 9:30 at night here…

I have 3 works in progress…

The blue circle is a circle ghan for my father-in-law.  I had another started, but it kept turning into a bowl, so I changed patterns..

The green blob is a sock…it’s a bad sock…filled with lots and lots of mistakes, but it’s almost done….

the tiny pink thing is what I’m hoping will be a Tunisian scarf…I’m loving this technique and the cool fabric it creates, but it rolls like crazy!!!!

Since I finished The Hunger Games Trilogy…I’m taking a break from fiction reading, so I’ve been browsing pattern books…I just got the Steven West one yesterday…Love the Coastal Knits….and the Master Class book is proving very interesting….

Gorgeous blue! Don't you hate it when patterns work up misshapen?

The circle-ghan is looking beautiful so far, I love its shape and colour.

And isn't Tunisian crochet awesome? I've only swatched a tiny bit with it, but it really does create an interesting (if really curly-uppy) fabric.

Love Hunger Games! Love Coastal Knits! Love the circle-ghan, too! Also, any almost-finished sock counts as a roaring success.
